ZILART block 21

A RESIDENTIAL BLOCK HIGHLY INSPIRED BY THE FORMER INDUSTRIAL CONTEXT

The ZILART is currently one of the most ambitious residential/business developments in Moscow located at vast former ZIL car factory area along Moscow River master planned by Project Meganom. Plot21 is located between the park and the main boulevard. The new Hermitage Museum will stand right next to this plot. The building massing up to 80m consists of 3 volumetric elements; Plinth, Legs and Top. The vernacular composition of these volumes diversifies the living condition of the apartments as well contributes to the expressive appearance of the building.
Glass and metal windows at Plinth and Legs are set into a ceramic pearl glazed background. The kinked glass facade on Top reflects surrounding like a crystal in the sky.
The current status of the project is the stage AK (Preliminary design stage).
