A RESIDENTIAL TOWER WITH AN OPTIMUM VIEW AND OUTDOOR SPACE
BLOCK B1 is designed as one of the residential towers of the Masterplan PV27 (Master planner: MADMA urbanism+landscape) situated at the former industrial site (8.3 ha) right next to the Belorusskaya Station in Moscow. The design of the building consists of the following 3 principles;
BALCONY FOR ALL + LARGE OPENINGS
Continuous balconies along the façade provide a large balcony to every apartment. The idea matches to rapidly increasing demand for having private outdoor space since pandemic Covid-19 started. And the size of the openings of the façade is optimized for maximum integration of indoor/outdoor space.
SCULPTING BUILDING LOGICALLY
The trapezoid building shape is generated by two factors; 1. Increasing the number of south-facing apartments with a great view towards central Moscow as well as decreasing north-facing apartments, 2. Optimizing the privacy of east-west facing apartments towards adjacent residential towers.
MAXIMIZED PREFABRICATION
BLOCK B1 maximizes prefabrication both in prime structures and façade elements. It optimizes efficiency both economically and environmentally.
