A PRIVATE HOUSE IN THE POLDER LANDSCAPE

Along the fringes of urbanism polder landscape of rural and detached housing typologies a long but narrow plot challenges clients program of 600m2. A generous open living for all family affairs is lifted from the street, overlooking the private garden and surrounding.
Inspired by historical “polder” landscape - the origin of the site area, the garden of the house is designed to respect an authentic Dutch polder-scape, and the house is modern hair styled by reed roof.
